ACOEM’s special AOHC rate is $221 plus tax. This includes: in-room high-speed internet access; complimentary self-parking and complimentary fitness center access during your stay!
That’s right, your room rate includes guest room internet access each day of your stay (a $10 value!), complimentary self parking for registered hotel guests*, and access to the fitness center (also a $10 daily value!). In addition, our group has a check-out time of 12:00 noon rather than the posted 11:00 a.m. time.
*Self Parking Charged at $8.00 per day for conference attendees not staying at Rosen Shingle Creek.

Once on the reservation site, simply select “Make Reservation” from the left column. If you would like to create a user name and password you may do so, but it is not necessary for making a reservation. Having a user name and password will allow you to make changes to your reservation online, although cancellations cannot be processed online. Also any requests for suites must be handled by phone.
Reservation rate cut-off is March 31, 2010. After that date rooms may no longer be available at the special ACOEM rate. Note: the hotel will authorize the credit card used to guarantee the reservation five days prior to arrival date. Hotel cancellation policy: Guests must cancel a reservation 5 days prior to the arrival date to avoid a one night penalty charge.

In addition, please understand that ACOEM is contractually obligated to meet a threshold of room usage in order to avoid financial penalty. Each room not booked at Rosen Shingle Creek is a potential cost to ACOEM. Your association has worked hard to provide a stellar environment for this conference with regard to meeting space, support services, engaging activities and guest accommodations. So embrace the resort concept and take advantage of what it has to offer.
Still not convinced? Think you’ll save money by staying elsewhere? Keep these points in mind:
You will likely need to rent a car if you stay off-property, and self-parking at Rosen Shingle Creek costs $8 per day. Or you can take a taxi to the meeting every day, and a town car (Shingle Creek’s onsite transportation service) back each afternoon. These costs can add up quickly, and you’ll spend time in transit rather than networking with peers.
If costs are still a concern, consider sharing a room with another attendee. This is a great way to reap the benefits of staying at the host hotel, support ACOEM’s commitment AND save money.
A final note: please be careful not to overbook the length of your stay, and if your plans change please adjust your hotel reservation as early as possible. This will help you avoid cancellation fees and keep the AOHC room block from selling out prematurely, forcing others to stay elsewhere only to have late reductions that can cost ACOEM in shortfall penalties.
