  • ACOEM Joint Providership of CME Activities

ACOEM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™.  Joint Providership is defined by ACCME as “providership of a CME activity by two institutions or organizations when only one of the institutions or organizations is accredited. The accredited provider must take responsibility for a CME activity when it is presented in cooperation with a non-accredited institution or organization…”

At this time ACOEM offers joint providership of CME activities only to ACOEM component societies, and only for live activities. Initial applications must be submitted to ACOEM at least 120 days prior to the date of the educational activity. See the application for additional parameters and information.

In addition to the application, a new CME Planning Document must be completed by the joint providership applicant within a time frame to be determined by ACOEM.  This document will be provided upon receipt of application.
