The Journal of Occupational & Environmental Medicine is a leading scientific, peer-reviewed monthly publication in the specialty of occupational and environmental medicine. The JOEM editor, Paul W. Brandt-Rauf, MD, ScD, DrPH, MPH, has been Dean of the School of Public Health of the University of Chicago since mid-2008. Prior to that he served on the faculty at Columbia University in New York since 1985 most recently as Chairman of their Department of Environmental Health Sciences and Professor of Earth and Environmental Engineering and Medicine. He has also served as an advisor to OSHA and the International Agency for Research on Cancer.
