Recommendation on Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty for Low Back Disorders Updated

The methodology that ACOEM established to develop its Occupational Medicine Practice Guidelines requires a yearly review of the literature in order to make immediate changes to the Practice Guidelines if new high- and/or moderate-quality randomized controlled trials (RCTs) become available. Recently, four RCTs were published that required our Evidence-based Practice Spine Panel to revise the recommendations for vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty in our Low Back Disorders chapter.
