Membership Eligibility

Membership in ACOEM is open to:

Active	Doctors of medicine or osteopathic medicine who have an interest in occupational and/or environmental medicine.

Associate	Non-physicians who have attained the doctorate level degree of PhD, ScD, DrPH, or EdD in an occupational and environmental health discipline.

Affiliate	Non-physicians working in a field related to occupational and environmental medicine, who have advanced training in a related field, are certified Physician Assistants, licensed Nurse Practitioners, Certified Occupational Health Nurses, or licensed Acupuncturists.

Resident	Full-time residents with an interest in occupational and environmental medicine. Resident members receive free membership in the Residents and Recent Graduates (RRG) Special Interest Section, as well as free membership in two additional Special Interest Sections. Please go to www.acoem.org/sections.aspx for a description of the Sections or e-mail memberinfo@acoem.org. Resident members also receive free access to APG-I and do not pay the Application Fee or Component Society dues.

Medical Student	Full-time medical students or interns with an interest in occupational and environmental medicine. (Student members receive free access to APG-I!)
